These places were abandoned years ago. Look at them today

Allerheiligen Monastery – Germany

This monastery is almost 900 years old! It was built in 1192 in the Black Forest of Germany and still stands today. Sadly, the Church was struck by lightning three times in a row in a particularly strong storm. It caught fire and no one wanted to rebuild it.

If a church is struck by lightning three times, we believe it should be left alone! We wonder what happened inside for something or someone to hit it three times.

This temple is located in Angkor Wat in Cambodia. After the disappearance of the empire of the seventeenth century, it was abandoned and has been left only until today. Over the hundreds of years since its abandonment, the jungle has swallowed it up and reclaimed the temple as its new territory.

Although it is not in use, the locals maintain it to make sure that the mighty jungle does not destroy it completely. Today, it remains a monument where people can explore.
