Beware of dark tones
Makeup in dark shades adds years to even the youngest ones. On mature faces, lighter shades in the eyes will open our eyes and on the lips will bring more visual volume, especially if we end up with a bit of gloss.
In the eyes, choose to replace the blacks and greys by the maroon and brown tones, softer, and flee from very dramatic make-up. Smoking will be the best option to get a more sophisticated look, and it will also help us to tear and enlarge the look more. So, the best option to make up the eyes of a mature face for special events will be smoking. Don’t overdo the mascara either. Apply it only to the upper lashes, and remember that the final result will be more natural if you choose a brown shade rather than a deep black.
