Heather Michele O’Rourke fue una actriz estadounidense. Se hizo famosa a partir de la interpretación de la pequeña Carol Anne Freeling en las películas Poltergeist y sus dos secuelas. Después de filmar la primera entrega, Heather comenzó a caminar en un terreno más cómodo en el mundo del espectáculo, realizando apariciones en series televisivas como CHiPs, Webster o Días Felices. Murió a los doce años, tras sufrir el día anterior un paro cardíaco y un choque séptico subsiguientes a una obstrucción intestinal. Erróneamente diagnosticado, pues en realidad tenía estenosis intestinal aguda.
John Elroy Sanford mejor conocido como Redd Foxx fue un actor y humorista conocido principalmente por su trabajo en la sitcom Sanford and Son. Nacido en San Luis, Missouri el 9 de diciembre de 1922. Foxx consiguió fama por sus números humorísticos en solitario fueron más adelante editados en álbumes para reuniones, llegando a hacerse muy populares. Foxx actuó en la serie The Royal Family, pero durante unos ensayos el 11 de octubre de 1991, sufrió un infarto agudo de miocardio, falleciendo en el plató en Los Ángeles a la edad de 68 años.
